A blonde woman and her husband were lying in bed, listening to the neighbor’s dog bark in the backyard. It had been going on for hours, and any hope of a peaceful night was slipping away. Finally, she threw back the covers. “I’ve had enough of this,” she announced, getting up and heading downstairs. Her husband stayed behind, waiting for whatever she had planned to bring some much-needed quiet to the house.
When she eventually climbed back into bed, there was one obvious problem: the dog was still barking. Nothing about the noise suggested that her late-night mission had accomplished anything. Puzzled, her husband turned to her. “The dog is still barking.
